“With over 210 million packages disappearing from ports across the U.S. last year, many consumers feel the need to plan their day around deliveries to ensure they get their packages and groceries,” said Like Fitzgerald, Senior Director of Delivery Services for Chamberlain Group, a global leader in access control solutions with its Chamberlain and LiftMaster garage door opener brands and myQ technology. “Delivery inside the garage puts the customer in control without having to plan the day around deliveries—rain or shine, packages and groceries will stay safe inside the garage until someone is free to pick them up.”
With the Walmart+ InHome delivery service, customers will be able to purchase groceries, household essentials and other items from the Walmart app and have them delivered to the garage. Full-time Walmart associates will be assigned to delivery, providing a trusted and familiar face to every order. On the day of delivery they will receive one time access in the garage via a connected myQ device. “If you’re not sure you have a myQ smart garage door opener, look to see if it has a myQ logo and a WiFi logo, or says ‘powered by myQ’ on your garage opener,” Fitzgerald added. “Then download the myQ app and follow the steps to connect your opener(s) to the myQ app.”
No myQ? No problem. When you subscribe to Walmart+ InHome and select myQ as your default delivery method, you will be offered a FREE technology upgrade to make your existing garage door opener compatible.

It also provides a more secure way to share access at home.
