Skybound Entertainment has revealed the creative teams for Creepshow #3, a new horror anthology launching in September. The five-issue series is based on Greg Nicotero’s hit series Shudder, produced and licensed by Cartel Entertainment.
The first story features Francesco Francavilla (Night of the Vampire, Detective Comics) and L Marlow Francavilla in a barbarian story where locals share stories of their greatest kills and hunters can just as easily become prey. Then in the second tale, Ariela Kristantina (STRAND) and Jorge Corona (I who love in the dark) journey to a temple hidden within an island paradise, where many visit but not all leave.

“We’ve always been huge fans of the CREEPSHOW franchise from the first film by George Romero and Stephen King, to the latest TV series by (dear friend) Greg Nicotero, so you can imagine how excited we were when Skybound brought us invited us to join. this book with our haunting tale,” said Francesco Francavilla.
“One of the side effects of the pandemic was spending more time at home in our backyard and making friends with some very cute and smart raccoons and possums,” added L Marlow Francavilla. “Our conversations about their lives and adventures, and how they are perceived and treated were a huge inspiration for this story.”
“As a lifelong horror and macabre fan, it is an absolute joy for me to contribute to the Creepshow anthology as a writer,” said Ariela Kristantina. “Most Indonesians peacefully coexist with supernatural/superstition occurrences every day and the creepiest folklore, many of which overlap with local cultures and religions. It is very satisfying to share a story inspired by my values and background. Moreover, I can collaborate with Jorge, one of my best friends since university. I witness him excelling in a variety of genres – from superheroes to YA fantasy – so I’m excited to see the final pages!”
