Local leaders and officials celebrated the grand opening of Confluent Health LLC’s new headquarters, a $10 million project that will create 350 full-time jobs in Kentucky.
“We are committed to building an economy that works for every Kentuckian, and investing in the rapidly expanding health care industry is one of the many ways we are doing just that,” said Governor Beshear. “Confluent Health began operations right here in Kentucky and have been committed to our workforce and communities for years. This investment is just another example of a quality company buying into what the Commonwealth has to offer. I couldn’t be more excited for today’s ribbon cutting ceremony and wish Confluent continued success.”
The project is expected to double the previous office space from 18,000 square feet to more than 36,000 square feet. Confluent Health will expand its headquarters in response to significantly increased demand resulting from multiple acquisitions and organic growth. The jobs created by the expansion will include marketing, IT, human resources, administrative and executive roles. The project was announced in January of this year with work on the new facility starting soon after. Confluent currently employs 125 people in Louisville.

Confluent Health operates five divisions, including 45 physical and occupational therapy company partners that include over 530 outpatient physical therapy locations in 29 states. Confluent Health maintains a higher education company focused on post-professional training that houses a residency and fellowship program and offers university partnerships in entry-level physical and occupational therapy as well as PA programs. It also operates an occupational health company with over 1,500 safety and injury prevention jobs in 48 states, a national independent provider association, and Confluent Ventures, an innovation center with digital health, virtual reality physical therapy and pathway services. comprehensive health care.
Currently, more than 200 healthcare-related technology, service and manufacturing locations operate in the Commonwealth, employing over 37,000 Kentuckians. Since the beginning of the Beshear administration, businesses within the sector have announced over 2,000 new jobs across the state. The industry includes headquarters operations, pharmaceutical manufacturers, medical device design and manufacturing, medical device manufacturers, and distributors of healthcare products.
Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer congratulated the company and noted Louisville’s thriving health care environment.

Confluent Health’s investment and planned job creation further the recent economic momentum in the Commonwealth as the state bounces back stronger from the effects of the pandemic.
In 2021, the Commonwealth shattered every economic development record on the books. The new private sector location and expansion announcements included a record $11.2 billion in total planned investment and commitments to create a record 18,000 full-time jobs over the next few years.
