Jubilee Pudding: 70 years in the making
Friday, September 2 at 9:00 p.m
To celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s 70th year on the throne this year, legendary London department store Fortnum & Mason held a competition to crown a new pudding in the Queen’s honour. Watch as five top home bakers compete in front of a panel of judges led by Mary Berry and co The Great British Baking Show winner Rahul Mandal. The winning recipe is already available to find online, but we suggest you wait to watch and enjoy the show first!

The Cook’s Place

How it spins
The new season premieres Saturday, September 17 at 11 p.m
How it spins is different from the other shows on this list: it’s younger, just entering its second season; and it’s not a cooking show. Instead, it follows Carrie Morey as she grows her cookie business in Charleston, South Carolina, while also raising a family and reconnecting with her mother.

Pat’s Mexican Table
The new season premieres Saturday, September 17 at 4 p.m

Pati Jinich travels to the northeastern Mexican border state of Nuevo León in this eleventh season of Pat’s Mexican Table, revealing some surprising roots of Sephardic Jewish cuisine in the region. It’s a return to the border for Jinich, who produced a special tracking the US-Mexico border last year.

Lydia’s kitchen
