Buying a luxury car doesn’t necessarily mean you have to spend $50,000 to make it happen. In fact, if you’re looking in the used market, you don’t even need to spend $20,000. If you’re operating on a tight budget, here are five examples of used luxury cars you can find for under $10,000.
1. Cadillac CTS

While Cadillac is a well-known luxury brand name, its low resale values can mean good bargains for buyers on a budget. One such example is the Cadillac CTS. You can still find second-generation CTS examples selling nationwide for under $10,000 in the Premium and Luxury trims. According to Autobytel, “Bose audio, navigation, real wood cabin trim and heated leather seats are also available at this price point.”
2. Lexus IS

According to a nationwide search on Autotrader, spending $10,000 on a used Lexus ES 350 will likely get you a fifth-generation model (2007 – 2012) with plenty of miles on the clock. However, remember that Lexus is known for building some of the most reliable and quality cars in the business. Also, that vintage ES was well-equipped with a V6 engine, high-end features like leather interior and wood trim, and a premium surround sound system.
3. Mercedes-Benz S-Class
Buying a Mercedes-Benz S-Class for under $10,000 might seem like a stretch or a bad idea. But it isn’t. Not only are there plenty of early 2000s S-Classes for sale under $10,000 around the country, but you’re getting a bargain for that kind of money. Keep in mind that the S-Class is a full-size sedan with a powerful V8 engine, 4Matic AWD, and a spacious cabin with all the amenities you want.
Some of the notable features include heated leather seats, a Bose premium sound system and a number of driver assistance features such as adaptive cruise control and brake assist. That $10,000 budget doesn’t sound so bad now, does it?
4. Acura TL

For $10,000, you can buy a 2007-2008 Acura TL. Of course, that may sound old, and many examples we’ve found at that price point have plenty of miles on the odometer. However, Acura refreshed the TL for the 2007 model year and gave it plenty of luxury features like heated leather seats, a surround sound audio system, navigation, and a rearview camera. Furthermore, under the hood is a 3.2-liter V6 engine that puts out 258 hp.
5. Lincoln Town Car

If you want a car that feels like a limousine but drives like a normal full-size sedan, then the Lincoln Town Car might be for you. The city car stretches 215 inches in length, but with great length it has great features. It has a big trunk to hold everyone’s stuff, a big V8 engine and a soft suspension. Other equipment includes seating for up to six passengers, navigation, parking sensors and leather seats. All in all, this is a pretty good deal for a $10,000 budget.
Used Luxury Cars for Under $10,000
You might not think you can get much out of a luxury car for less than $10,000, but it is possible. Even in today’s market, there are many luxury jewels to be found, some of which have some really nice features. Don’t let your low budget limit you in your search. If anything, these five examples are a good place to start.
